SAF Files Suit Challenging Interstate Handgun Sales Ban

The Second Amendment Foundation has filed suit challenging the law that prevents the sale of handguns to out of state residents. With the national background check system now in place there is no reason why me as a PA resident couldn't find a great deal on a new Sig in Ohio and buy it there and walk out the door with it. Today I can't, it has to be shipped to a dealer in PA who then does the paperwork. Since we now have a national system for background checks this is just down right silly. For me it is an inconvenience, for residents of Washington DC it means that they can't possibly purchase a firearm. There are no dealers in the district. That means that although Heller got their right secured, they can't exercise it because of this stupid law. Here's to the SAF and their wonderful work fighting for all of our 2A rights.
